Transition is made from paragraph writing to five-paragraph writing. 授課目的： This course is aimed to introduce students with the tradition of Western drama from the late nineteenth century onward. As the texts of drama were written to be performed, the instructor will guide the students to learn how to see a play in the mind’s eye and hear it in the mind’s ear.
In addition to reading the texts of the plays, the students are also encouraged to make their own performance of the plays in class.;

授課目的： 全球化和網路的發展改變了學生的學習方式。如今，年輕學子和外語學習者不僅需要培養核心的專業英語技巧，如閱讀、瀏覽、詞彙的能力，還需要培養全球化和跨文化意識，創造力和批判思考的能力，以及資訊和媒體素養的認知。本課程的主要目的是讓學習者能藉由觀賞關於TED的演講及搭配合適閱讀的文章，培養學習者能夠以英語的思想和內容來理解和回應問題。本課程強調每個文本和談話的關鍵思想討論以及作者或演講者如何用英語語言來傳達此思想。另外，在本課程中，除將融入TED演講中創新內容作為素材，搭配每一單元的任務計畫，讓同學除吸收跨界的新知，也將其知識應用在小計畫的執行。;
